Let's say Thank You

Show your support for the troops. Click on the below link to send a Free card. You can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to so me member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them.

Say Thanks, buy a hybrid. :)

I particularly liked the muscle car card covered with the American flag. Are you feeling guilty because of the Democrats, err I mean, Kerry's remarks? :0

I swear I'm really a happy person, it's this fucked up world that has me down. I know I wanted to join the service recently. My reasons... Money$$$ and I wanted to kill people legally. It would have been very odd to receive one of those cards. Maybe Kerry was right.

Why would I feel guilty? I don't like Kerry and his comment was plain ignorance. I posted this b/c no matter what you or I think is right or wrong these people need our support. Sometimes a little thing like a card makes their day when they are feeling like the world is falling on them.

The world is falling on them and a card isn't going to help. Curbing the cause of the war will.

What I was expressing was that while his comment was an obvious PinC blunder perhaps it might actually have some validity in logic.

I do not see what is wrong with personalizing a card to a soldier (even though you have no idea who that soldier is) and sending it.

It is kind of odd to think of personalizing something to a stranger, but it seems that it does help with troop morale - which it good.

I think using the pre-typed choices is rather cheesy if you are going to send a card.

The lack of personalization would then make it not personal which then would defeat the whole purpose of receiving a card. In fact the term junk mail comes to mind if a person is not willing to take the time to make the card original.

Just my 2 cents.

Nay - if you hate it give it to someone else, but not as a gift.

I have already got myself in enough trouble commenting on wishin's post so all I can say is I hear what you are saying.
